Agreement State Regulatory Programs:
The Office of Federal and State Materials and Environmental Management Programs (FSME) at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission is responsible for oversight of the Agreement State programs to ensure they remain compatible with the regulatory standards and practices of the Commission. FSME maintains links for information on the radioactive material regulatory programs of the 34 Agreement States, plus Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia which are developing new agreements.
