NRC Announces Funding for OAS Meeting
Each Agreement State (including MI, NJ) interested in the NRC paying for one person to attend this meeting should make their flight arrangements through Carlson's Travel at 1-866-250-2160 as soon as possible. Please identify the traveler and have them submit the travel information needed for NRC to issue their travel authorization to Brenda Usilton (Fax 301-415-3502). NRC is encouraging travelers to purchase their own ticket if it can be purchased for a SIGNIFICANT SAVINGS (i.e. hundreds of dollars). Please clear purchasing tickets yourself through Brenda Usilton before doing so. The per diem rate for Baton Rouge, La is 101/44/145. This means: $101 is for lodging/$44 is for meals and incidentals/with the total not to exceed $145.00. NRC will also reimburse the traveler for the registration fee of $300.00, if the state agency pays the registration fee to OAS, state reimbursement will be the traveler's responsibility. NRC will not cover any rental cars.

Things you might want to know about the hotel:
A block of rooms has been reserved at the current federal per diem rate of $99.00 per night subject to all current taxes. To ensure you receive this rate you must make your reservations by Friday,August 21, 2009. Be sure to ask for the group name "Organization of Agreement States" when making your reservation.
This rate will be honored for this group three (2) days before the meeting start date as well as three (2) days after the meeting end date.
Non-guaranteed room reservations will be honored until 6pm on the date of expected arrival. Guaranteed reservations for arrivals after 6pm that do not arrive are held for one night only and not the entire length of the stay. The guest will be required to pay for the room for that night. Reservations may be cancelled until 4pm on the date of arrival.
Complimentary internet and DSL in guest rooms.
Vendors: Your registration fee includes booth space and basic power plus registration for up to two individuals.
