Clicking on the state name will launch that radiation control program's website in a new window. Please note that some states may have multiple regulatory programs. Links to as many of these programs as possible have been included for convenience.
Effective March 31, 2009, Virginia became the 36th Agreement State.
* New Jersey and Michigan are not yet Agreement States but have filed statements of intent with NRC to achieve Agreement State status. They are currently completing the necessary process of compatibility with NRC's licensing and enforcement programs.
