Agreement State Links

Following is a list of the 37 Agreement States and 1 state that has filed intent to become an Agreement State. Clicking on the state name will launch that radiation control program's website in a new window. Please note that some states may have multiple regulatory programs. Links to as many of these programs as possible have been included for convenience.

Michigan is not yet an Agreement State but has filed statements of intent with NRC to achieve Agreement State status. They are currently completing the necessary process of compatibility with NRC's licensing and enforcement programs.

Job Board

The State of Wisconsin, Radiation Protection Section currently has a position vacancy in our radioactive materials program. This position is responsible for licensing and inspecting the use of radioactive materials used in medicine, industry, research and education. The position also assists in the implementation of the state's radiological response plan by participating in nuclear plant emergency response training, drills, exercises and real events. This recruitment may be used to fill additional vacancies in both our radioactive materials and environmental monitoring program.
