Each year, the Organization of Agreement States (OAS) holds an annual meeting to discuss the latest changes in policies, regulations and general industry trends. OAS is comprised of 40 Agreement States that partner with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to form the National Materials Program (NMP). The NMP is responsible for almost all rules, guidance documents and policies that affect the radioactive material industry.
